The beauty of watch collecting..
Being able to collect timepieces utilising the same patented waterproof case design of a Patek 565 and 1463, but with a lot zeros less in its asking price. Such is the case with timepieces from Movado or Mido for example and their collaboration with the legendary Francois Borgel case designer of the early 20th century.
Just looking at this Movado, its aura is exactly that! You don't have to turn it upside down to see the trademark decagonal caseback. Elegant, fragile, but strong at the same time!
Beautifull Francois Borgel stainless steel case measures 32,70mm without the crown (34,70mm including the crown) x 41,20mm lug to lug. Condition is very good for its age, no ugly marks anywhere. Dedicated caseback in very good condition as well.
Patina was generous with this dial. To my eyes, the salmon hue is beautiful but that is subjective of course. The fact is though that everything is original! The lume on the dial and that on the original hands as well.
The watch comes with its box and a new high quality leather strap.
Movado calibre 150MN was just serviced and works flawlessly! One year warranty on the movement accompanies this timepiece as with all of my watches.
