Wonderful Enicar Sherpa Date calibre AR 1145 from the 60s.
Ervin Piquerez S.A. (EPSA) stainless steel case still crisp, with surface signs of use, left untouched of course as I always do, shows the good life this piece had for the past 50+ years.
Case measures 35mm without the crown (37mm including the crown) x 42,5mm lug to lug.
Original and stunning sunburst arabic 12 dial with hour markers and tritium still intact.
Original hands with aging cream tritium matching the dial lume plots.
Original red date wheel.
Original crown.
Plexi looks spotless with the naked eye but has light surface scratches, only visible with the macro lens or lupe.
Original buckle.
Unpolished screwdown caseback, with seapearl still deep, has surface scratches from age.
In house AR 1145 manual wind movement, just serviced.
Overall, a hard to let go Enicar to be honest..
One year warranty on the movement as with all of my watches is provided upon purchase.
Note: Vintage watches are not good friends with water. Regardless of its "Super Compressor" case, please avoid testing this Sherpa's diving abilities!!
