A range of diver watches were produced by Citizen during their 60s and 70s line up. A few are met more often when others are rarely seen.
The 100m divers are part of the Seven Star range of models, marked as Para-Water or Waterproof, preceding the ultimatum in the early 70s when the "Resistant" became mandatory.
A beautiful orange dial example of the v2 range is on offer here. The v2 range, introduced in 1969, used the 7270 21 jewel Citizen movement.
Stainless steel case measures 43mm without the crown (45mm including the crown) x 45mm lug to lug and remains in very good condition. A few light scratches here and there but certainly not abused.
Original and correct signed early small crown.
Bezel is excellent with no hits at all. Bezel insert has scratches and marks of use.
Dial is spotless and retains its vivid orange colour. Original lume still in place.
Caliber 7270 was just serviced and this beautiful watch is ready to be enjoyed.
The watch passed the pressure test but I don't recommend to go scuba diving with a vintage watch.
One year warranty on the movement comes with this Citizen as with all of my watches.
