Baume & Mercier traces its watchmaking roots back nearly 190 years to the Baume brothers who made fob watches as early as 1830. Very few can claim their uninterrupted history of watchmaking!!
In the 70s they introduced the Tronosonic range which housed the ESA tuning fork movements. When ESA released their chronograph tuning fork movement, the 9210, Baume & Mercier were one of a very few companies to produce a chronograph tuning fork watch.

Original condition throughout, unpolished, with minimal signs of wear, 42,5mm x 48mm lug to lug stainless steel case.
Stunning and spotless matte reverse panda dial.
Original and in excellent condition tachy ring, hands, crown and pushers.
Lume dots next to the hour indices and in hour and minute hands, have aged to a beautiful cream colour.
The unique ESA 9210 movement was just serviced (November 2019) by the best in those movements, Rob Berkavicius, and feels fresh as new!!
A rare timepiece, preserved in outstanding condition with minimal signs of wear, retaining even its original B&M croc leather strap and folding clasp!!
