My love for Universal goes back for so long, before I even consider doing my passion daily with abitspoilt. The goal was and still is, finding original examples, believe it or not!!

Here we have a fully original 38mm Compax from the mid 40s with a lovely dial, hands and round pushers. Case was polished sometime ago from a previous caretaker and measures 38mm without the crown x 44,7mm lug to lug. Caseback with a few scratches but reference and serial still deep and visible.

Original dial in lovely condition, with lume dots and numerals still in place. Original hour, minutes, chronograph and subdial blued hands. Original pushers and crown. 

Calibre 285 was just serviced and is in mint condition. Comes with a one year warranty as with all of my watches.

This Universal comes with it original box and buckle (retrofitted to a brand new high quality abitspoilt strap).

Overall, in my opinion, this is an oversized Compax that belongs on a wrist and not inside a box.
