A better description fits this rare Seiko timer I think, neo-vintage, as it comes from the early 90s when Seiko created a few quite focused Regatta timers. 

The 8M37-6000 has pre-set timer that can be set at 5, 10, or 15 minutes. The free set timer can be set by 1-minute intervals up to 30 minutes. It also has a repeat function when the set time is up and the timer begins to count down again. The dial is a fun play of colors in perfect contrast with the deep black background.

This particular example is in near excellent condition as the black coating has very few surface signs from use, the pushers and left hand side crown are excellent and the dial and bezel are spotless!!

All functions work as they should.

A rare opportunity to see the black version of this reference in such condition!!
