Regular price €2.700,00

Wonderfull vintage solid 14k gold Longines watch from 1954-55 with the automatic 19A calibre and quite unique Breguet 12 textured dial!!

Case dimensions are 33mm without the crown (35mm crown incuded) x 41,5mm lug to lug. It reads small but the case 41,5mm lug to lug design feels so much bigger on the wrist!! There are signs of use here and there but the case remains unpolished, a rare thing with solid gold pieces! Caseback with surface scratches from use as expected as well.

Original textured dial with a few patina spots as seen in the photos captured with a macro lens, not so visible without one. Beautiful applied gold hour markers and Breguet 12. Original hands.

Automatic calibre 19A serial 9.105.xxx was invoiced on 16 September 1954 to the company Longines-Wittnauer Watch Co., INC, according to the Longines Extract department. Exporting just movements back in those days was common practice, due to the high import tarifs by the US government for complete Swiss watches. Movements were sent instead and the company there, in this case Longines-Wittnauer Co INC, assembled a complete piece with the rest of the parts made there,

Just serviced of course and with one year warranty as with all of my watches.

This beautiful Longines timepiece comes with its original rare buckle (retrofitted to a brand new high quality abitspoilt strap) and its original box.
