Eterna - Matic Chronometer, Swiss 1956

Lovely example of this high regarded brand that "bequeathed an eternal legacy to watchmaking" as a friend so correctly wrote in one of his articles!

Stainless steel case has scratches and light marks of course, as I avoid any type of polishing, but retains those wonderfull bevels that pop on those sexy lugs!
Caseback serial #358xxxx (1954)
Original and greatly patinated dial, has developed this honey coloured hue with time, has silver applied hour markers and radium plots still in place.
Original silver hour, minute and sweep seconds hand.
Replaced crown and stem during its last service, but old crown comes with the watch.
In house automatic calibre 1429U movement, #400xxxx (1956), is freshly serviced (Sept. 2020) and keeps excellent time.

This beautiful Eterna comes with one year warranty on the movement as all of my watches do, inside a custom two pocket leather roll.
